Bloch National Cancer Foundation,Cancer Care, Inc., Cancer Hope Network,Lung Cancer Alliance (LCA), NCI’s Cancer Information Service, Patient Advocate Foundation and Wellness Community, all of which have hotlines (some are 24/7) that connect you with information, education, legal counseling, cancer survivors, psychological services and/ or local medical support for cancer patients and their friends and families.

When you register for free, you become a member of their site and get access to member message boards and forums as well as monthly live chats. The goal is to help those with a new diagnosis learn from the experience of others and get the support they need. You can even get your own webpage on the site and get active in the community and advocate as well.
