…it was a lot of fun anyway! If you do an interview with Donald Pennington it makes you appreciate someone who time and time again goes out of his way to help his fellow writers. In my humble opinion he is among the best at what he does. His interview format is very creative and fun to complete.
When I checked out AC back in November I signed up and that was the end of that. I read through some of the articles and thought, wow, no way can I do that. I didn’t have a clue what it all meant. It was like reading a foreign language. Display only, page views, exclusive, upfront payment, pick a template, key words, links, sources…what? I just wanted to write something. Writing I can do, it was all the other stuff that threw me for a loop.
Now that I’ve grown up some (ha ha!) I came back and gave it another try. I would probably still be sitting here with 100 page views and crying over the keyboard if not for some of my buds. I thank you all and appreciate all the help, support, ideas, etc. I thank everyone who has made a comment or subscribed to me. I have met (in cyberspace of course) so many nice people and feel like I know a little bit about each one of you through your writing.
It didn’t take long before I saw the name Donald Pennington all over the place…almost everything I read had a comment by Donald. I thought, wow, this guy has like 400 published pieces, tons and tons of page views and a zillion fans – no way would he ever read my stuff. But, I figured why not ask I have nothing to lose. So I went for it, I left him a comment and next thing I know he left comments on my pages. I was thrilled.
I began asking him for help and he answered many of my questions and told me not to give up. I didn’t give up and I’m here still driving you all crazy with my endless questions, Abby’s photos, funny stories and silly poems. I am just getting around to writing this interview review. I recently read another interview he did and realized that after an interview the interviewee is to do a ‘write up’ about it. I don’t pay attention to directions all the time! Now I feel bad that I didn’t do this sooner and I ask for forgiveness. I debated doing this ‘funny’, ‘sarcastic’ or ‘serious’….I opted for semi-serious!
All you need to do is read one of Donald’s many articles and you will be hooked. The guy is extremely talented. I read A Kiss for Dad and cried through the whole thing. Very touching, emotional and a view into his soul.
As I try to sum this up, without constantly repeating the same things over and over, I will just say thank you – thank you Donald Pennington. The interview process has now been completed.
