Miniature Wooden Birdhouses
Purchase or make your own tiny wooden birdhouses, complete with an opening. Slip the invitation inside with an invitation reading, “A little birdie told me there was a birthday party and you’re invited.” Use this creative summer birthday party invitation for any animal-themed party, garden party, tea party or an arts and crafts birthday party for kids.
Another creative way to make your own summer birthday party invitations is to make your own butterfly net for kids. Use a wooden chopstick or a wooden dowel for the handle. Add a piece of craft wire to the top and form a loop, taping a strip of the wire to the stick. Sew or glue a piece of mesh material or a the mesh material used to package lemons or potatoes to form the net.
