It is fairly active and you should get several responses to your debt relief questions. Many of the forum participants at fans of debt guru Dave Ramsey.
Debt Support Group #2: Destroy Debt Forum
Another place to talk about debt and share tips for paying off debt, is the destroy debt forum. Please note that I do not know anything about the debt consolidation services offered (the ad at the top) and I do not recommend it. However, you can talk about self debt reduction, mortgage payments, paying off credit cards, dealing with debt collectors and more on the forum. You can also discuss taxes, student loans, and even dealing with identity theft. There is also a section on bankfrupt. Click here to visit the destroy debt forum.

Debt Support Group #5: Cafemom’s Debt Free or Trying Group
Don’t let the name fool you. It primarily consists of member who are in debt and trying to work out of it, although there are some debt-free members to offer advice and support. There is currently a “question of the day”. It’s a very chatty and friendly group. You can find helpful tips for paying of debt, living frugally advice, financial questions and much more. Obviously, since it is on Cafemom, it is really a group for moms. However all women can join, as Cafemom has several members who are trying to conceive and are not yet mothers. It is definitely worth a visit. You could also ask for advice on working at home, and ideas for earning extra income.
Debt Support Group #6: Dave Ramsey Forums
I chose to include this one last, because there is a fee to join the forum. You can, however, get a free 7-day trial and cancel afterwards. It is probably the most active debt discussion board on the web. In my opinion, though, I am not sure it is worth the fee to join the forum. You might join, and see if you feel that the forum will benefit you, even with the fee. If you don’t think its worth the extra monthly payment, then you can cancel the forum. I do agree with Dave Ramsey’s plan, just am not sure if I agree with the fee to join an online forum. I do recommend enrolling in Financial Peace University to help you on your start to a debt-free life and financial freedom.
