I love watching infomercials when I’m up late at night. I’m mainly geared toward exercise machines and crafty things however.
I’m going to focus mainly on one. I don’t know if I can say what it is but let’s just say if you see it on TV you’ll know which one it is.
I decided to research this, because out of all the late night infomercials I’ve never seen, this has to be the most advertised infomercial ever! At least in my time.
First of all, I’m not interested in using it since I’m a woman. But as a counselor I thought, well maybe there is something to it and perhaps I should find out more since it has come up with some of my clients.
I didn’t really know what to say except “if it sounds too good to be true it probably is”. Most people will agree with that statement in general.
Besides that I know from my own clients that when sex is talked about, size has never been an issue.
However, the curiosity got the best of me, so I thought I’d go ahead and visit their site.
First of all the big catcher is ‘it’s real science”! So what. Science doesn’t personally prove a whole lot to me, seeming most of it is only based on theory.
Second of all there is one Doctor backing it up. Well if I were a doctor promised millions of dollars to back something up that people keep buying, it would be very tempting. I just don’t know if I’ve seen enough proof or safety that I would back it up even then. I think I’d stake my millions on something that is with much more concrete evidence.
I just don’t see it here.
Whenever I see the phrase “individual results may vary” a red flag goes up!
I also, am leery of herbal combinations. If you do decide to try this then you should know that herbs really do have some active ingredients and can interfere with other medications. Since doctors do not know a lot about herbs and you are taking heart pills or high blood pressure pills then how are you going to know that you are not putting your life in danger.
I do recognize some herbs that are supposed to increase blood flow however, so does a warm bath. Maybe there is something to the fireplace setting and the hot tub? What do you think?
Another thing that caught my eye is most prescribed medicines or herbs go by the weight of the patient. This says just one tablet and you are on your way, basically.
If this pill is supposed to make you larger then why doesn’t it say how much larger? If they sell as many as they say they do then why don’t they have testimony after testimony of how large it is actually making these men?
It just says temporary raise in size while using the product.
Here is another red flag: These statements have not been evaluated by the food and drug administration ExtenZe is not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any diseases.
Now I understand they have to say that but, what about long term effects. I don’t see any scientific evidence that proves that it is safe.
For the ingredients you’ll have to go to the website to see them. If you look up each and every one of the ingredients you will find warnings on some of them. It doesn’t say it on the bottle but do your own research on the first one Yohimbe, and you’ll find a warning on it. Now when I say look up the ingredients, I don’t mean you’ll find it on their website. I mean search them on a search engine for the dangers.
There are a couple others that have warnings as well. It’s your call but I would not recommend it to my dog.
If you are having sexual difficulties, I would recommend asking a health-care professional or a counselor. There is no shame in it. Marriage counselors are there for that purpose. You can also ask alternative health-care advisors and probably find something a lot less expensive and not need all of the ingredients that have the warnings next to them.
And really, all these trials. Think about how good you feel when you get something new. Is it really the pills or is it the anticipation of them and the fact so many people are effected by a placebo affect in many trials because there minds tell them it’s working.
Hey if you tried it and you really believe it works then by all means leave your comments. If you have not bought it yet – try not to look at the sexy girl in the add. She’s there for a reason you know. It’s called sex selling.
