Located at 157 Duane Street in New York City, this is one of the most fabulous (fancy) dining rooms in the area! It’s the type of place you would expect a movie from the 1800’s to be filmed in with all the chandeliers, white columns, and other accents that make you feel as if you’re in a glorious mansion from way back when! It’s a really great experience in the city tonight, when you want to slip into a nice dress or suit pants and try something a little different!
The restaurant does serve lunch, but dinner always steals the show. Or, if you’re at the bar, you can enjoy some great finger foods like the Crawfish Club Sandwich with bacon, lettuce and tomato, along with a lemon dill remoulade, $12; Grilled Cheese with goat cheese, red onion, and on wheat toast, $7; Barbecued-pulled Pork Sliders with coleslaw, $9; The Park Burger with thousand island dressing, grilled onions and your choice of cheddar, great hill blue, or gruyere cheeses, $13; or go with the Malt Fries, $6.
And whatever you do, make sure to finish off with a decadent dessert, each one $8, like Mexican Chocolate Tart with whipped cream; Pecan Pie; Raspberry-Cream Cheese Tart with muscovado caramel; Orange-Almond Torte with strawberries and brown butter ice cream; Blackberry Cobbler with rosemary ice cream; or try a yummy sorbet or ice cream!
And some great cocktails to enjoy at the restaurant include yummy sensations like Spritzer Italiano with aperol, white wine, and a soda orange twist; Pom Pom with champagne, pomegranate juice, and a lemon twist; or perhaps enjoy the Duane Park Manhattan with woodford reserve bourbon and punt e mes, $14.
