Economy got you down? Can’t seem to find work that makes you happy and pays the bills? Don’t have a lot of time on your hands? Here are a few steps to finding easy, simple ways to make a little bit of cash.
1.) Update the resume. Make sure you have a completely upgraded resume that looks good to any potential employer. Meaning, do not send out a vibe that you are looking for THE job, but just a job. Post resumes and multiple sites such as monster.com or careerbuilder.com. You might think this is pointless, but employers will not ever get the chance to stumble across you, if you have not even tried.
2.) Master eBay. Got a lot of stuff? You’d be amazed at how easy sites like eBay and Amazon are to decipher. As soon as you create an account these sites take you through a step by step tutorial of everything you could possibly need to know. From posting items to collecting the dough, they are fast and easy. Your trash may be someone else’s treasure, and that someone else is willing to pay for it.
3.) Sign up to find work. There are many sites out there that connect people looking for jobs to people who are looking to hire. Care.com is one example of a site that connects people who are looking to hire babysitters, pet sitters, home cleaning services and more. They too are simple to learn. All it takes is ten minutes to learn the sign up and learn the ropes and you are good to go. Search through potential employers in your area and choose to contact them to find out more about a potential job.
4.) Become a “busy bee”. There are literally thousands of sites out there that claim to pay people money to do things like take surveys or read emails. Type into a search engine “make money” and millions of sites with these claims will pop up. The key to these sites is to know what to look for. Some sites may charge you a “fee” or want some sort of commission for the work you do. You should never have to pay money to make money. Narrow your sites down to the ones who claim to be free of charge, sign up and look around. You spend time online everyday anyways why not explore the possibility of making a little cash?
5.) Freelance Writing. Type freelance writer into any search engine and again, thousands of opportunities are just waiting to be found. Use the same rules listed above and you will be able to navigate quickly through the fake and phony, and find the real money makers.
A little bit of effort can go a long way when it comes to making money online. There is no such thing as free money, you have to work for it. Do your research, put in a little bit of time and you may very well walk away with some mulaa. The Internet has many great opportunities to offer, you just need to be able to sort out real from fake.
