Are you trying to plan a fairy tale wedding theme? The most important part of a fairy tale wedding to me is the gown and the hair. What do you think of when someone tells you they are having a fairy tale wedding theme? I think of having the wedding outdoors with lots of greenery and flowers, different tones of purple mixed with different tones of green for the décor, lots of vines, wreaths and flowers in the hair, and sparks of white to give you a hint or feeling of magic.
How does someone style their hair for a fairy tale wedding? Some brides like to wear their hair down. So to add a fairy touch you can make ringlets of curls, intertwine some beads and flowers in between some of the curls, and if the hair is long enough make 4 -5 barrel curls on top of crown pin them under and then you can place more decorations into it or your wedding veil. Also on this fairy wedding hairstyle make sure you leave a few ringlets hanging down from each side. Use a medium size curling iron. Then take small section of hair. Spray the section of hair lightly with hairspray. Let it dry for a few seconds then curl it. After you release the curling iron leave the curls alone. Do not separate the curls. After your whole head is done start decorating.
Next fairy tale wedding hairstyle I have done is quite elegant yet has a fairy tale touch to it. Start to French braid the top and sides of your hair. Make sure to do it very loosely if all possible. When you get to the middle of the ear gather the sides up and place either flowers or a fairy looking hair clip into the middle of the head in the back. Make sure the clip is secure. Now you should have the rest of your length flowing down. Take a big barrel curling iron and make huge bologna curls. On those curls hanging down place small flower hair gems, or rhinestones. In the front of the French braid scatter some baby’s breath through out it.
Another great fairy tale wedding hairstyle is a crimp look. This wedding style is fairly easy to achieve. Take a hair crimper and crimp the whole length. Once you complete the crimping then place a flower wreath around the top section of your head. Make sure the wreath comes to the back of your head as well. Grab a medium curling iron and curl a few sections of hair on each side going down. After you curled those sections take your fingers and lightly un-piece them. Making them look more on the natural side.
Last fairy tale wedding hairstyle I have for you is very romantic, fun, and has a great fairy touch to it. Take a flat iron and completely straighten your whole head. Then you are going to begin with a French braid technique starting at the beginning of the ear. The braid will go from top of right ear to the top of left ear. It should look like a halo on your head. If you have bangs blow them out and make them either wispy or blown curled under. In each section of the braid you can place White Daisies or White hair gems. You can leave the rest of your length hanging down, tucked under the braid, or intertwine with the braid. There are so many different options here.
