When it gets to be that time of the year, either New Year’s or the Fourth of July, it’s a lot of fun to drive near the bay around 9 pm or midnight, depending upon the time of year and watch all of the firework displays from all the communities surrounding the bay, lighting up the sky. One year a friend of ours took us to one of the beaches off of one of the bay bridges. We sat in our car and watched about a half dozen displays going off all over the bay, lighting up the night sky, on the Fourth of July.
