Here is a guide to the colleges that have classrooms you can attend here in the high desert. Many colleges now offer coursework completely online, too. You should investigate online if you can’t find a classroom course here that meets your educational needs. Regarding financial aid: anyone who is even thinking of attending college classes should immediately fill out a Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA). This form is required as early as January for the Fall semester – each year. At every college in California this form is used to determine if you are eligible for any financial aid. The earlier you apply, the more financial aid sources there are available to you. You can apply online at www.fafsa.ed.gov.
