Newmoonmovie.org has already got the jump start on hyping up the Twilight sequel, New Moon. For Twilight fans, newmoonmovie.org knows just what they want. And what they want is to see Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart in sexy poses – maybe a bit more for Pattinson. Newmoonmovie.org gave them just that with the creation of some new posters for New Moon yesterday. The fact that they were Photoshopped and fan created didn’t matter that much.
On the website, two New Moon posted were created, in anticipation for the release of New Moon on November 20’th of this year. The first one obviously made Twilight fans go crazy, as Robert Pattinson was made to look bare chested as Edward Cullen.
In the fake poster, Pattinson is standing in what looks to be a castle, with his shirt open. In an even more telling sign of what the main Twilight fanbase wants, the teaser poster starring Kristen Stewart’s Bella Swan has her in shadows, with Pattinson the far more exposed star in his poster.
Of course, Pattinson and Stewart did not pose for these posters. Newmoonmovie.org was merely made by Twilight fans who knew how to Photoshop. A more official New Moon posted debuted at ShoWest last week, but that merely had the words “The Twilight saga: New Moon: 11.20.09.” on a black background.
Even though that is probably not Robert Pattinson’s body on display, that won’t stop the Twilight/Edward fanbase from using their imagination. With New Moon being made quick to come out this year, the Twilight hysteria isn’t dying down anytime soon, even after the original movie came out on DVD.
Newmoonmovie.org is a leading website to update progress on the sequel, which is being helmed by new director Chris Weitz. Casting in some key roles is still in progress, with Dakota Fanning already signed on as a Twilight newcomer.
In addition to the fake posters, some additional Twilight related April Fools news items spread around the Internet yesterday. Various blogs reported that Pattinson had left New Moon, scaring the more gullible Twilight faithful.
Stewart, for her part, is already teasing New Moon as more tragic than the original, as she promotes her new comedy Adventureland this week.
