Children have special needs when it comes to health and dental care. Their bodies and mouths are different and their behavioral needs are different. There are specialists in both medical and dental fields that focus on children. Pediatric Dentists are trained in the art of taking care of children’s oral health and in dealing with their behavioral needs as well as special needs that accompany caring for children. In Northwest Arkansas there are several pediatric dentists to choose from.
Dr Jeff Ward, DDS, PA
Dr. Jeff Ward was born and raised in Fort Smith, Arkansas. He and his family currently reside in Fayetteville, Arkansas. He is active in the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry and the American Dental Association and he attends pediatric education seminars yearly to stay current with the latest pediatric dentistry techniques.
The dental office is run in a unique setting. Appointments are made however, since it is a pediatric dental office there are occasions when the patient is not going to cooperate in their treatment. The office calls the “Children’s Time” which means that when a patient is not cooperative they may run late because they will ensure that the child receives the necessary care in a safe and non threatening environment. When appointments are made they are made for a specific treatment chair. Your child will not go in for treatment until that chair is available.
Payment is expected at the time of service. The office will file insurance claims on your behalf but do expect that your balance be paid at the time of visit. If your balance reaches 30 days you are expected to clear up the financial matter immediately. They do use Care Credit. They are in-network providers for Delta Dental, Blue Cross Blue Shield of Arkansas, Municipal Health and Arkids A&B.
The office is at 3089 Mission Blvd, Fayetteville AR. The telephone number is 479-442-6995. To reach them via email the address is firstname.lastname@example.org.
