Disney Vacation Planning DVD
List of Special Events
Follow these steps to plan your vacation:
Consider ordering a Disney vacation planning DVD (see resources). It is totally free and there are no shipping charges. This DVD will show you videos of each Disney theme park, their hotel and camping accommodations, dining choices, and much more. It will give you a great idea of all there is to do on a vacation to Walt Disney World which will make it easier to plan your trip.
Take a look at Disney’s list of special events to see if any of them interest you. If they do, you can book your trip around those dates. This is a great way to add some extra entertainment to your trip without having to pay any extra money. There are Star Wars Weekends, Mickey Mouse Christmas specials, garden shows, and wine festivals.
Look for packages that include airfare if you don’t want to drive or you live too far away to even consider driving. Purchasing your airfare separate will cost you a lot more money.
Decide where you want to stay. Disney offers several different options. There are the Disney hotels, resorts, and campgrounds. The campgrounds are obviously the cheapest, but are also perfect for those who like roughing it. If you are looking for something more on the deluxe side you will want to decide between the animal kingdom lodge, the beach club, the Polynesian resort, and more.
Choose which of Disney’s four theme parks you want to visit. There is Epcot Center, Magic Kingdom, Hollywood Studios Theme Park, and Animal Kingdom. Tickets are sold individually for these parks and in combinations. You can also get tickets included with various packages.
Check out Disney’s additional attractions to see if you want to include any of them in your trip. There are two waterparks, a sports complex, and a shopping center. These attractions will also require a day of your time to fully enjoy.
Book your trip when you find a deal that fits all of the entertainment you require and the proper sleeping accommodations. You can book your trip using the Internet or a travel agent. Travel agents may charge you a fee for your services, but they do all the work for you. All you have to do it is let them know what you want to do, how long you want to be away, and what type of hotel you are looking to stay in. They will take care of the rest.
Make your down payment for the trip. Find out when the rest of the balance is due and make sure you pay it on time so that you don’t lose out on any of your reservations.
Tips and Warnings:
You will need spending money so take that in to consideration when planning your trips costs.
