Located at 355 Greenwich St, this is the place to be treated like royalty! Known for their great service, the restaurant is the place to go to for a great night out. It’s all about all-American comfort foods, many with an interesting twist. It’s a perfect place to enjoy an evening out with long-lost friends as the place is quite lively and open.
The appetizers served up by the restaurant are delicious, so make sure to start off your meal with one of them … they are easily shared with your table or sweetheart. Try selections like the Crispy Shrimp with lemon aioli and capers for $12.00; the Beet Salad that is absolutely marvelous and so simple but completely impossible to duplicate that comes with pistachios and robiolina for $11; the Oven Roasted Sardines that are perfect with their garlic oil for $12; delicious Crispy Troutlings with chive crème fraiche for $14; or how about stick with the slightly more vegetarian side of things with the Grilled Asparagus, $11 or Avocado Salad with hearts of palm, bacon, and jalapeno for $12.
You think the appetizers sound delicious? It’s just the beginning because the entrées are even more so, like the Pork Chop with coco beans, escarole, and thyme for $23; the Horseradish Crusted Salmon with red mustard greens and a fabulous yubi mushroom broth for $25; Long Island Duck Breast with sunchokes, bartlett pears, and that tasty and perfect apple ginger glaze for $27; the classic English-Cut Lamb Chop with the perfect combination of rosemary, baby carrots, anchovy, and fennel for $34; Grilled Bacon Wrapped Trout with peanut potatoes and grilled greens for $24; the more unique and so delicious Skillet Calf’s Liver with potato and onion torta, swiss chard, all in a sherry reduction for $21; or how about the filling and yummy Black Angus Hanger Steak that is served with red potatoes, pommery mustard, and sweet red onions for $26.
And of course there are plenty of delicious desserts to choose from, many of them completely unique and so delicious, well worth your money. Try the Greek Yogurt Panna Cotta for $8 – it’s carrot cake with sweet stewed apricots; or try the classic and moist Pineapple Upside Down Cake for $9, with toasted coconut ice cream and a great rum anglaise; the Chocolate Ganache Tart for chocolate-lovers with malted anglaise, and a really great salted pretzel crust for $9; the Rhubarb Crostata with silky buttermilk ice cream for $9.
