Kristen Stewart decided to wear this(1) dress to a Hollywood event recently. Designed by Max Azria for the Herve Leger line, I have to say this looks more like a piano key dress than any thing else. Maybe it’s because the dress is too short and boxy looking that makes it look like an orange piano. A suggestion for Kristen: this red Jil Sander dress.(2) Lose the piano dress.
This outfit(3) is far too busy in texture, color, and glitz. Tyra Banks would look much better in something else besides the camoflauge jacket, jeans, black heels and oversized handbag, with the gold hat. Hey, this could be worn for Halloween. A suggestion for Tyra: wear long jeans, lose the jacket and hat.
It’s not just the black dress(4) that’s so wrong here – it is also the hair and makeup. Mary Kate Olsen should have worn a brighter color here, with her hair pulled back off her face (the shaggy dog look just does not become her at all) and a softer shade of red lipstick. A suggested dress: this blue one shoulder strap dress(5) by Gucci.
If there is one no class move this year, it has to be this one: Michelle Rodriguez showing off her tattered jeans underneath her evening gown.(6) Of course, with skirt up like that, it is hard to figure out whether her dress looks good on her or not. Her expression doesn’t need anything more said about it, either.
Phoebe Price (who?) looks all right in the dress(7) but the scarf, boots, and hat defnitely needs to go. I’d keep the little dog, of course. The hat would look fine if she’s going to Tombstone but then she’s have to throw on a pair of jeans with a button down white shirt. With this dress, however, a pair of pink or blue mules would look great. The scarf has me thinking of winter and I live in the middle of the desert.
Selita Ebanks chose the wrong dress(8) to wear here. This black dress is too short and tight for her. A suggestion: this taupe colored sheath dress(9) from Jil Sander.
